English Language Challenges

So, this is my last blog. English classes finish for me today (and I hope I could pass this course LOL).
First of all, I have to say that I loved this course. The time for classes and blogs was amazing. I think that this course was so relaxed and that was great to make some kind of balance between all the stress about being a ''mechón''.
When I started this course, I wasn’t capable of writting as fluent as I can nowadays, so by that side I am so thankful for this chance to practise my writting.
To be honest, I was expecting hard classes, full of chemist vocabulary and boring homeworks, but instead I found myself on a class full of fun; we talked about topics importants to young people and (the most importannt thing) with a funny teacher.
The blogging sessions were amazing. I didn’t feel like I was doing homework, because I was writting about the things I liked and I could meet the opinion of my classmates. The topics were interestings and the blogs helped me to know some friends.
I've always thinking that my weakest part of this language is the capability of listening to someoneand inmediatly understand everything. It is hard for me to think in english and be capable of thinking in an answer for something that I just heard.
Now I am capable of understand some TV shows in english (but sometimes I prefer watching it with subtitles in english, so that helps me understand easily) and I am almost capable of having a conversation with some people.
I am greatful for this experience, and I know my learning of english doesn't end here.
See you in another chance, babys ;)

Changes to my study program

When I was on 4th grade, the advisor of my school told us that when we were looking for a career and an university, we had to regard on three things: the curriculum, the infrastructure and the teachers. The time passed and when I decided that I was going to study Chemistry and Pharmacy in Universidad de Chile, I forgot everything my advisor told me. I was only guided by the prestige this university has and I didn't realise my future faculty has lots of problems.
To be honest, I have no problems with the curriculum (except for, maybe, that the career is so long, like every universitary career in this country) and I have no problems with teachers (most of them are quite nice), but I have soooo many problems with our infrastructure (which has lots of ''infra'' and a little bit of ''structure'').
First of all, I want to give an applause to the only good thing of the infrastructure of this faculty, and yes, I mean conditionated air, the very best thing on Earth (thanks to whoever created it).
Now, the bad things (only two):
First: we don't have a casino. The only thing we have to buy food in our faculty is some kind of cafeteria, 20x10 metres squared (maybe less, I suck at estimating) and you can't pay with Junaeb card (so sad)
Second: if it's raining, there's just a pair of places where you can be safe of rain.
I would really fall in love with my faculty if these problems didn't exist.
So this is the only change I will do to my study program
Thanks for reading!

Summer plans

Summer is almost here, and I couldn’t be more annoyed. I’ve always thinking that summer is synonymous of hot, sweat, fatigue and other stuffs like that. The only good thing about summer is no classes! (And it is not even that good, because my freedom of studies means enslavement of cleaning my house)

To scape from all the nasty things of the summer, me and my family usually go to Futrono, a little town placed near Valdivia. For most of the people, Futrono is kind of boring, because there isn't anything to do after midnight, but I love the place exactly for that; it is amazing to get out of all the noise of the capital, to breathe fresh air and be surrounded by lots and lots of trees, animals and little houses.

On the last two or three years, Futrono has been becoming in a place a little more touristic, because of its natural attractive, so that means the little town is now full of tourists in the morning, the beaches are full of beach umbrellas and blonde heads.

My plans for this summer are going to Futrono for a few weeks (maybe I will be there for a week with my parents and another week with my grandparents, because they almost live there). We will visit some of my dad's uncles, aunts and cousins, maybe we will also visit some craft fairs and (this is my favourite part) we will go to the lake <3

God, I was so tanned that I was becoming orange (and yes, my hat is the coolest)

So this is my post, leave your comments on the box :)

GPOY

Hello everyone! So for today’s blog I am going to tell you the story behind one of my favourite pictures ever.

This picture was taken about a year ago, during our school graduation’s photo session. In this picture you can see my very best friends. We were classmates since 2010 and we were friends since then as well, because our mothers were on our grade’s directive.
These girls are (from left to right) Bárbara (AKA Babi), Tamara, me, Natalia, Celeste (AKA Tetete) and on the bottom of the picture, there’s Javiera (AKA Bubi, because her last name was Bustos). My friend Javiera wasn’t on the actual picture because she changed of school when we were on 3rd grade, but we wanted to put her in because we love her.
Right now, these girls are doing things sooooo variated. It is really complicated for me to think that we were learning the same things once.
Bárbara is studying Laws on Universidad Diego Portales. She wants to become a cool lawyer and defend women’s rights.
Tamara is now in Germany (sieg heil), studying on a Business School and learning the language too. Her courses are taught in english, so every time I doubt about the language, I go right to her.
Natalia is studying Commercial Engineering on Universidad Adolfo Ibañez. She is now starting a business with some classmates. She sells various kinds of plants and stuff to take care of them.
Celeste is studying Political Science on Universidad Católica. She is incredibly critical, I mean, on her first semester, she had an argument with a teacher because he was teaching something based just on a thought.
Javiera sat for the PSU again this year. She wants to study something language related and she also wants to live in the South of Chile (because most of her family lives there).
So this is the post for today, I hope you enjoyed reading this.
