Hello
everyone, so for today’s post I will write about the thing that I am passionate
about. To begin I am going to tell you a
story about a little Yanara that was on 3rd grade, a little girl
only 8 years old who wanted to do something with her free time.
When I was
8 years old I was so bored with the things that I did. I was just going to
school, I did my homework and I ate (now that I think, that doesn’t sounds so
bad, but who cares?). So when the scholar year began a teacher told me that she
was going to begin an athletics class that year, so I said ‘’why not?’’.
That year,
2006 to be precise, I began running. That is the thing that makes me feel like
I am the happiest girl ever.
From 2006
to 2010 I practiced on my school, and then my trainer told me ‘’you have to
begin training in somewhere better’’, so she sent me to Estadio Nacional to
train with the good athletes. When I began training there, the things were so
hard to me: the training literally left me breathless and almost every day I
arrived at my home just to lay on my bed until the next morning. It took me about 10 months to get used to
that trainings, and then came the best years of my life.
On 2011 I
won the national championship on the discipline of 300 metres hurdles, that was
my first year running on federated championships and my trainer, Santiago, told
me that winning the national on my first year will be hard, but I did!
Nowadays I
still training with the University selection, but I am not as good as I was a
few years ago, because I have to spend almost all my time studying.
Here is my
last picture running, this was on June this year, on the first time I ran with
Universidad de Chile’s clothes. In that championship I obtained the sixth
place on 100 metres.
So that is
my story with athletics, I hope you had enjoyed this post :)

You should have introduced the meme "why not" and your entry would have been perfect
